Initial Consultation Agreement - PR Pathway

The Initial Consultation Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of the initial consultation between AVera Immigration Services located at 2550 Lawrence Avenue E., Scarborough, ON M1P 4Z3 and the undersigned prospective client(s) for a maximum of 45 minutes. Please be advised that AVera Immigration Services is led by Arlene de Vera, a member in good standing of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (the “College”), the regulatory body that oversees immigration and citizenship consultants in Canada.

The purpose of the initial consultation is to answer your questions to the best of our ability; to identify your options to apply for permanent residence in Canada, analyze the costs and benefits of those alternatives; to help you determine your course of action, if any; to discuss our fees and terms of representation if a consultant-client relationship is to be established after the meeting; and to determine the next steps in the process, as appropriate.

Our fee of $200.00 is payable prior to the commencement of the consultation via e-transfer at veraimmigration@gmail.com. If paying by credit card, instructions will be provided individually. The payment and accurately provided information need to be sent to us at least 3 days prior to the scheduled consultation. If you further retain our services a new retainer agreement will be signed.

To cancel or reschedule your consultation, please contact us via email at veraimmigration@gmail.com at least 24 hours (EST) prior to your scheduled appointment. The fee for a missed appointment will not be refunded. You may also reschedule your consultation at no cost two times. The consultation will be conducted via online communication means. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

All information and documentation provided to us shall remain strictly confidential, except as authorized by you or otherwise required by law.

The advice provided during this consultation does not constitute a continuing client/counsel relationship or for Ms. de Vera to act as your authorized representative in any immigration or immigration-related matters. The advice provided is valid at the time it is given and is based on the information provided by the client.

By signing the agreement and by remitting payment through one of the payment methods below, I agree to all the terms and conditions set forth in this Initial Consultation Agreement.
