December 2024 - This year, we saw some big milestones: category-based Express Entry draws helping those in healthcare, agriculture, and STEM get closer to PR, and the launch of the enhanced caregiver pilots, allowing caregivers to apply for PR right from the start.

Of course, there were challenges as well, including changes to low-wage work permits and Post-Graduation Work Permit eligibility. Some had to return to school to boost their points, while others relied on high-wage LMIA-supported work permits to extend their stay. Yet, despite these hurdles, we’ve seen incredible resilience—navigating the shifts and seizing new opportunities along the way.
